Al Kaplan
I got interested in photography while in my senior year in high school back in 1961 and I've always enjoyed shooting and printing black and white.
I've done a wide variety of things over the years, working for several magazines and newspapers, several public relations agencies, a local college, the City of North Miami, and the local congressman.
I bought my first Leica about 1963 and have pretty much shot with Leicas all these years. Lately I've been going through my negative files and printing up a lot of those old images.
I'm divorced with two grown children. My daughter Elena is a tax attorney in Atlanta. My son Jonathan is a rabbi and working on his doctorate at Harvard.
