Carsten Bockermann

Carsten has been shooting travel stories since the early 1990s in Europe, the U.S., Central America and Southern Africa. He focuses on people in their environments, trying to reveal the spirit of a place and the soul of its people.

In recent years he has concentrated on the Spanish-speaking world, with major stories shot in Mexico and Cuba. In March 2006 his exhibition 'Cuban Moments' focused on the daily life on the island in a time that almost certainty marks the end of Castro's regime.
