About us

The Circle was founded to provide an independent showcase for our members’ photographic work and to create an online forum for discussion, critique and debate.

Membership of the group is by invitation only, for published or established photographers working in travel, reportage and documentary photography. Our members shoot on both film and digital formats, in colour and in black and white, on the latest digital SLR equipment, 35mm rangefinder and SLR cameras, or larger film formats. Some members shoot travel and documentary full-time, others during the course of other assignments or genres of photography, but all share a love for captivating, beautiful and meaningful images from around the globe.

The Circle will shortly begin to publish compilations of members’ work, which will be available to purchase through this site.
